report map.
One source indicates that these bombs might have dropped on the night
of June 4th 1941 (McDougall 1979: 28). However, one night during November
1940, One H.E. bomb exploded 45 yds. from the Twycross - Sheepy Road.
There is also unconfirmed reports of a few bombs being jettisoned
from an enemy aircraft in this area, during the night of 10th January
1942.
Blue pins show areas which were hit by high explosive (H.E.) bombs.
