Pay to view bomb at Ab Kettleby.

    The only bomb that came down just south of Ab Kettleby failed to explode and remained in situ until after the war. 'Bomb Disposal' made it safe and by coincidence, the church held a fete that weekend and charged 6d to view the bomb and 6d to go down the excavation, to view where it had rested. Horse Chestnut trees have been planted on the site, but none have survived.
